Swimming lessons for adults

The chance to learn to swim in small groups in a shallow pool is an opportunity not to be missed. Our swimming courses which are open to all ages and abilities include the chance to learn to swim at any age; perfect your style in any stroke; improve your fitness and resistance levels; and strengthen your muscles for enhanced mobility.

Therapeutic swimming lessons

Boost your fitness in the water! The changes of pressure and strength required for movements in water contribute to obtaining magnificent results. This activity is perfect for people of all ages, as it prevents injury and joint pain.

Our monitors offer variations on basic exercises such as walking, bending and stretching movements for arms and legs, as well as a series of other exercises that use the edge of the swimming pool as a support. 45 minute sessions combining fun and fitness.

Children’s swimming lessons

Like ducks to water! At the Rialta Sport Complex we run a full programme of children’s swimming lessons. Our initial aim is to make them feel completely safe and at ease in the water. Once this has been achieved, our monitors will teach them the various swimming techniques and styles.

They will also work on their coordination, acquiring diving, turning and other skills that will improve their partial and overall coordination.

Get fit in the water! Changes of pressure and force mean that working out in the water guarantees great results. This activity is also suitable for people of all abilities and ages, as it prevents joint pain and injuries.
Our monitors combine a range of basic activities such as walking, stretching and leg and arm extensions with other exercises that use the pool edge for support. These 45 minute sessions will help you get in shape and have fun at the same time.

Swimming courses for schools

Courses designed especially for schools wishing this activity to their pupils. The lessons are taught by monitors specialised in children’s swimming. The aim is not only to teach the children to swim, but also to encourage them to make exercise a habit. The child-monitor ratio is five for children aged between 3 and 5, and eight to ten in the case of children over 6 years of age.

Each lesson lasts 45 minutes in the water, and includes a range of exercises and activities depending on the age and ability of each child; each lesson is tailored to adapt to varying needs. Lessons are available between the start and end of the school year, and the minimum duration is one term.
